The “School Family” is a culture of cooperation and compassion that is unique to Conscious Discipline. The School Family infuses the school day with joy, creates an environment that is optimal for learning and ensures the success of all children. At this event you will:

  • Begin replacing tangible external rewards and behavior charts with an intrinsic desire to cooperate, resolve conflict and regulate emotion.
  • Understand how the brain is wired for impulse control and willingness, and apply this information in classrooms and schools.
  • Discover the power of connecting rituals and learn ten rituals that promote a positive learning environment.
  • Learn how to notice instead of judge in order to promote helpfulness and service to others.
  • Find out how to encourage the most discouraged children.
  • Learn how and why to implement seven structures for kindness, empathy, daily contributions and compliance.
  • Teach children how to take personal responsibility for their actions.
